To suite all Triumph 4 cylinder engines, as fitted to TR2-3-4-4A, and also Morgan engines. The complete engine was removed from a scrapped TR3A, in the very early 70’s, and latterly the head was removed from the engine, which was subsequently sold. The head is in good order, with no obvious cracking, or heavy signs of deterioration. Prior to putting the head up for sale, I asked my local machine shop, to clean the gasket face, which required 0.010” of material to be removed. In the past, it has only ever received a light skim, leaving the new owner plenty of scope for additional machining (if required). Squish area on number one cylinder, has a small dent. The dent is 0.020" deep, so will not affect operation once installed.
