About Stoke on Trent
The Stoke group was formed over 35 years ago, in August 1981 by Chris Mountford and Nigel Pugh, with its first meeting at The Plough on Campbell Road in Stoke, with the aforementioned the first joint group leaders. From the start the club has been active on the local show scene, participating in various tours both our own, with other TR Register local groups, and to Le Mans. We actively encourage our lady members, and indeed our ladies team were the inaugural winners of the "Tug a TR" event at the Harrogate International event!
Our activities and enthusiasm have continued since the start, and developed to include a number of summer Sunday events, driving to, and frequenting various interesting attractions (including pubs), and we continue to be active on the local show scene.
We continue to rely on the friendship and support of our fellow members and enthusiasts, and we look forward to meeting up with old and new members at our current location, details of which are in the how to find us section. Come along and enjoy yourselves.
