Drive it Day

The Perfect Picnic.

As a tribute to the late Dave Kcrezmer we had decided to spend Drive it day in the beautiful Exmoor National Park, as we had many time on one of Dave's runs. Wall to wall sunshine was enjoyed as we set off from the meeting point in Taunton towards Wimbleball lake. After a brief diversion to Clatworthy lake we found the tea rooms and after a Coffee stop and lakeside stroll, set off again to Exford and enjoyed "The Perfect "Picnic" by the river. On the return trip we were treated to cream tea in the beautifully picturesque setting of "The Chantry" at Kilve. Many thanks to Paul and Adrian who led the tour without the aid of a pre-planned route and in true Exmoor run tradition, none of us knew where we were going.
