RED ROSE MAY BULLETIN

Hello again. It's been a busy few months at Red Rose with events almost every week.

The first big run of the year was to the Lakeland Motor Museum Drive In Day with over thirteen cars enjoying the spring sunshine and a run through the south Lakes.

The April meeting was well attended with some new faces and over twenty five cars on the post meeting run to Blakemere Craft Centre.

Our Drive It Day run on the 23rd April to the British Iron Works was a great success with over twenty seven cars plus a few guests from the triumph Sport Six Club attending.

1st May Gawsworth Hall Classic Car Show

A number of Red Rose cars will be attending this year's Classic Car Show at Gawsworth Hall. Pre booking is not required and entrance fee is £5 per person payable on the day www.gawsworthhall.com/car-show

14th May – Antrobus meeting and run with TR Register Stoke Group

May's Antrobus meeting is on the 14th starting at a slightly earlier time of 11:30am with a post meeting run with TR Register Stoke Group. All members are welcome to join us at the meeting or at 12:45pm for the run. Details of the run will be available later this month

3rd and 4th June – Tatton Park Classic and Performance Car Show

Booking for June Tatton Park show is now closed and tickets will be posted to all entrants later this month. Places are still available for Tatton Park Passion for Power Classic Car show on the 19th and 20th August. If you would like to attend the August Show please email Chris Briggs at chris@abbey100.com with the following details

11th June – Antrobus meeting, Afternoon run to Bunbury Mill

The June Antrobus meeting is on the 11th starting at the usual time of 12pm with a post meeting run to Bunbury Mill, departing 1:45pm. All members are welcome to join us at the meeting or at 1:45pm for the run.

11th June – Lancashire Automobile Club Manchester to Blackpool Run

A number of Red Rose cars will be attending this year's L.A.C. Manchester to Blackpool run. Booking details are available on the Lancashire Automobile Club web site.

30th June to 2nd July – Red Rose Group Weekend

The main event of the year is getting nearer! There are only a few remaining rooms available and anyone intending to stay at the hotel needs to confirm their booking by the 19th May. For those attending the evening meal, menu choices and numbers need to be emailed to Carole Biddulph at carole.biddulph@sky.com before the 26th May.

Runs are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday and registration details are now available for those who would like to attend the Saturday / Sunday runs but won't be staying at the hotel, email carole.biddulph@sky.com for more details.

Red Rose Facebook Group

Thank you to those who have joined and contributed to the Red Rose Facebook group over the last few months. We will be announcing event details and updates through the year on the facebook page and TR Register members are encouraged to join and share details of their cars and events.
