December Report
December 2015 Report
As this year draws to a close and I complete my first year as Group Leader firstly allow me to to thank you all for your support through 2015 in ensuring that TR Lincolnshire Group continues to thrive and keep our interest in our cars and the comradery that we all experience from our fellow members alive and well. I have been touched by the genuine warmth I have received through my inexperienced first year. A big thank you past officers for their support and advice and of course to Alyson for her help and support as Secretary. Here are some highlights since my last report.
November Run
Our last run of the season was organised by Julia and Tim. Meeting at Doddington Hall and convoying through the west of the county and crossing into Nottinghamshie through the picturesque Clumber Park before enjoying lunch at the Dovecote Inn at Laxton. The village at Laxton of course famous for preserving the medieval farming system which attracts many visitors throughout the year. Well done Julia and Tim
Christmas Get Together
Our normal monthly meeting held on the 21st December was a replaced with a get together supplemented by a buffet and the chance for a good old fashioned chin wag. We also took the opportunity to acknowledge the birthdays of Dave Dawson (pictured) and Sherry Brown who suffered the embarrassment of us singing happy birthday!
...and finally from me
All that remains for me to do is wish you all a very happy new year and I look forward to seeing you all in 2016. I will send a reminder out early in the new year for the AGM with the agenda and requests for any nominations for posts as all posts are automatically resigned.
Happy New Year
Adrian
