Well, the programme is in full swing now, just as it should be, I’m reminded as I write that it is only four weeks to the longest day of the year! Let’s make sure we continue t TR while the sun shines, just as we’ve been doing so far in 2024.
April saw us on a half day run to afternoon tea over at Bothel, and two weeks later we were off to Fort William, for our annual adventure stay. Consensus on this one – The best we’ve ever had, everything just came together like a dream – wonderful stuff, and would you believe the finest weather we have ever had. In between these two great CG days, some of us also flew the TR Flag at Dalemain for this years
FBHVC’s Drive-it-day, and whilst on the subject have you returned the very important FBHVC Questionnaire?
May saw us on what for us is a special day out, The Christine Wilson Memorial Run, once again this year organised by Steve and Ros, another great ‘Top Down’ TR’ing day, and checkout The Barbon Inn Facebook Page, our lunch stop, for lots of photo’s of our cars.
On to June and our run is Wednesday 5th., by Graham Dalzell, meet is The Goat Café

Mid-June is Our Air B & B Trip, by Jim and Anne – You’ve already paid so you know you are going!
Last weekend in June is The Inter-Clubs International Weekend, this year back at the bestest of venues, The Three Counties Showground, Malvern. Many of us have been before, we all know what its like, this promises to be monumental! All the information is in the magazine, and on the website, get down there, even if you can only manage a day.
Sunday July 7th. and we are back in the very capable hands of Mark and Anita for an All-Day Run, starting back at, The Redwell Inn, Kirkby Lonsdale Road, Arkholme, LA6 1BQ arriving at 10.00AM ish gets us the chance of a coffee and a bacon buttie before the off!.
August 4th -6th is our stay at, The Riverdale Hall Hotel, Bellingham.

As I write, the hotel has room for others, our rate is £94.00 PP Per Night’.

As confirmed at our AGM, Mark Dillon has taken over from Mark Sindle as our Website Man. Firstly many thanks MS, for years of sterling work fighting the system, and letting the wider world know what we do in this little corner of the globe.
Mark Dillon, is now looking for photos of our escapades in order over the coming months, to update and revamp our website, if you have, or obtain anything suitable
forward directly to him.
Finally, as you all know, I have been a long time passionate advocate of our clubs’forum – just a wonderful, helpful and informative resource. Well Devon group do a monthly newsletter titled, ‘In the Garage’ You can find regular editions in the General Technical Section of the forum, its just packed with great stuff for the likes of us!
