Cornwall Group - Virtual Pub Meeting
The uncertain times we live in mean that our pub meetings and planned afternoon and evening runs have been put on hold for some time. I’m sure we are all missing our trips around the Duchy as well as seeing and talking to each other.
Following the great success of our Virtual Drive it Day 2020, it was decided to trial a bit more tech.
A small number of members held a pilot Cornwall Group Zoom Meeting one evening last week for an hour-long chat from our own homes. This worked remarkably well and has inspired us to introduce the virtual meetings on a more frequent basis.
Darrel has kindly volunteered to host the next meeting which is scheduled for Friday 15th May at 20:00 hrs.
If you would like to take part, you will need to let Darrel know sooner rather than later by email only:
You will need to have set up a Zoom account on your chosen device. When your account has been activated you will be sent a link and invited to join the meeting. You will be provided with a Meeting ID and a password.
Be ready shortly before the meeting start time. When you see Darrel and hear his voice you will need to press the “Start Video” icon on your device. This will enable you to be seen and heard.
Make sure you have beer and wine ready and enjoy.
