I hope that you have been keeping warm, dry and safe.
The Christmas Dinner Dance was a great success, enjoyed by nearly 80 members, family and friends. The hotel and staff were obliging as ever, the food and service were well up to standard. That the party went so well, was all due to the considerable time, effort and enthusiasm of Des Gilmore. Despite a few last minutes glitches, which he took in his stride, he managed to deliver the biggest and best event yet. We are grateful, well done that man !
Before you ask, yes, we will be doing it again in 2023. More of that anon but a date has been proposed, Saturday 9th December, and I did hear that Des has already volunteered to produce another outstanding event.
Speaking of dates, we have posted the attached list of forthcoming meetings and events on our home page on the TRR website at https://www.tr-register.co.uk/group/chiltern-trs. We will add to and update the list as more organisers confirm their arrangements.
Our next meeting will be at The Peacock in Henton on Wednesday evening, 4th January 2023. I look forward to catching up with you all then. In the meantime, enjoy the festivities, have a great time and stay safe.
