Turning to operate starter all light up and engine turns over and starts but as soon as key released engine is dead and no warning lights show. Any assistance gratefully received before I end up calling out a mobile sparks
Beans
I'd start with a check off the ignition switch, so get out your multimeter and wiring diagrams .... Work from there "down"

jemgee
Sorted! Ignition switch OK PO had a Microscan immobiliser professionally fitted in 2002. Local mobile sparks found the control box had failed so he bypassed it and I will now rely on the physical removal of the battery isolator. Whilst waiting for him I pulled apart the connector blocks to the headlights and side lights to find poor contacts which had caused intermittent failure of offside headlight motor, flasher and side lights. Gave them a clean and WD40 so all now OK.
