davehop
Very nice - that's going to be EVIL!!! Looks like you haven't missed a thing. Are you building it yourself? Dave
oily
Thanks Dave, These parts are something else. Want to put them in the living room and just look at them. Dont think that will go down to well though. They cost an arm and a leg and a kidney or two. Best left to the experts to build. robgeev
Oily, looks nice, certainly a high level of investment, what fuel system are you going to be running? I'm running Webbers and have so far been very pleased-hoping that it will be nice when it comes back from tuning next week. My cam is the Moss fast road item, not sure how that compares to your spec, but it's well tractable, flywheel looks the biz-planning some big revs with that and your fancy crank? I'd be killed if I spent that much money! Look forward to hering it running! Rob.
oily
Hi Rob, The cam is a special designed by TRE and manufactured from blank by piper. Being a full race cam with massive lift and duration you would expect it to be to wild for road use. However the chaps at TRE were good enough to take me out in their track day 6 with the same spec engine. It was suprisingly tame on the road until the horses were let free. Then it flew. Howevr to deliver the max benefit through the rev range we are fitting fully mapped injection and ignition. 7000 rpm is easily acheivable. Well that is were the rev limiter is being set at. Should sound the dogs kahunas. Noel Edited December 16, 2006 by oily
