Guest tonygerrard
My neighbour has a soft-top car and the plastic rear screens have become a bit scruffy. Can anyone remind me what the polish/compound is to repair them? Thanks Tony
Robin Powell
Renovo window polish for plastic windows is what you require. Moss stock it amongst others.
Menno van Rij
A few years back the same question came up in Practical Classic. The answer was to use Brasso (the stuff you use for polishing cutlery!) I tried it myself on the 25 y/o rear window of a Spitfire and it worked great. But first, try it on a small part of the window (carefully!) to see if it works: the definition of 'opaque' can vary, I suppose. Menno
