Unusual passenger seat attachment?

Recommended Posts

My 1963 build TR4 has passenger front seat attach points that differ from the drivers side, and from all the pictorial information I have seen from parts suppliers, and is not shown in the TR4 OE parts manual that I have.

Drivers side has the "H" shape 2 rail slide, whereas the passenger side has two individual brackets on the floorpan where the seat attaches.

The passenger seat is held in place by 2 clevis pins, one in each of those brackets, allowing it to tilt forward.

Has anyone seen this arrangement?

cheers

Dave
