I looked at a problem I had with the drivers side wiper being very floppy. I found the nut was broken. I got a new nut and relating bits. Now for my question, when the wipers are on, at the highest position the drivers wiper is at a 45 degree angle instead of pointing straight up, is the correct? Thanks for any help. danny Posted February 15, 2005 Report Share Posted February 15, 2005 Hi, The wiper blade should be at an angle to the arm but be parralel with the side of the windscreen, the drivers side wiper arm is on a pantograph type arrangement if the incorrect arm is fitted it will not have the correct cleaning arc.
