allan
Hi Jamie, I notice you own a DHC auto, I almost bought one a couple of weeks ago and wondered what they are like to drive as opposed to a manual? Regards, Alan.
rayjones
Has the gauge always done this, or is it something new? The only things that come to mind are that the float on the sender unit in the tank has jammed at the top position, or shorted out possibly. Try disconnecting the sender wires and see if you still get full deflection. I would expect no deflection in this case, but I don't know for certain as I've not had any trouble with mine luckily Ray
Guest ajttriumph
Most likely cause is the float. The float will probably have a hole in it and will need to be replaced.
