CraigAddison Posted November 21, 2004 Report Share Posted November 21, 2004 To be quite honest Simon, due to the amount of work involved in replacing the tank on the 7 I would always opt for a new tank, how many times do you want to drop the axle? plus as the majority of tanks rust from the inside due to condensation, be very wary if you find a used tank that appears to be in good nick, I thought i'd bought a bargain a couple of years ago but when I came to fit it I noticed a couple of pin holes in it & with closer inspection it was very badly infested with tin worm.
