Conversion to Disc Brakes on Doretti

Recommended Posts

I've heard that a few Doretti's have been successfully converted to TR3 type disc brakes? I'm on a quest to convert my TR2 and a friend from ohio pointed me in the Doretti direction. I want to drive the TR2 often and it just does not have the stopping power of my TR4.

I think the master cylinder will need to be sleeved to get the pressure required and I'll need to find the guts for the smaller bore diameter. I also understand that may create another issue in biasing the rear brakes.

Has anyone here done this and can share any advice?

Thanks

Chris
