Guest hodgie
Right, another technical edelbrock/ weber question. 3.5 litre, heavily ported heads, tubular manifolds/ exhaust etc, fast road cam. Problem is running VERY rich (about a gallon of fuel a second!!). Edelbrock 500cfm. Can anyone with a similar set up tell me what Venturi/Needle (Whatever these things have) to purchase to sort this out. I guess I have a very race orientated set up (Orange I think if that means anything). Ta once again in advance.
Cinnobar
Post this on the V8 forum http://www.v-8.org.uk/forum/ their will bound to be someone their who knows, but having spent that money surely you'll get it set up properly on a rolling road? Also if it's running that rich I suspect something is wrong other than set up. Edelbrocks are V Sensitive to fuel pressure and I wonder if the pump pressure is flooding the carb. Do you run a pressure regulator? Jim
