But how do i fit the horn to work reliably, no instructions are given to do this and i am getting all sorts of problems with the horn. any help with this prob. would be greatly appreciated. scotty Posted March 28, 2004 Report Share Posted March 28, 2004 If I remember right the mountney boss just had a tiny clip riveted in the middle when I put mine on . If yours is the same my solution was to cut a circle of thin brass (cut from an internal door finger plate - house door that is - bought from B&Q) .This circle was the same diameter as the rear of the boss . I then removed the original naff clip & riveted this circle in place . The pencil conector through the wheel boss can now make a connection wherever the wheel is . There is no doubt a proper way to fix it but it only cost me £1 and works fine. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
