  1. Hi All Bit of a advice needed as usual. Fitting the windscreen frame today and have a new seal. It seems to fit ok on the drivers side where the seal splay’s flat on the scuttle panel, see Pic1. But towards the centre of the frame from the wiper spindles onwards it tucks under the frame as pic2. So the main frame pins are bolted in place as are the three central tabs and seems reasonably tight. But it still seems to me that the frame is sitting slightly too proud of the scuttle, which it wasn’t prior to the new seal. So the question is should to seal be as pi
  2. Hi Guy’s Going to refit my windscreen soon. Initially thought I’d buy a new screen and rubber but after looking at the screen and realising it was a Triplex Laminated and isn’t as scratched as I thought I’ll refit and see how it is. Question is do I refit the rubber which must be pushing 30 years old or buy new. It looks in ok condition, isn’t split or cracked but I’m assuming they do dry out and stiffen up over time. Against that thought is some things I’ve read about the very tight fit of new ones being a bit small and the potential for poor quality. Any feedback app
  3. Can anyone help please. My friends have a smashed windscreen on their horse box, it's based on a 1970's Bedford mobile library lorry . The local windscreen outfits have not been very helpful. Can anyone suggest where they may try to obtain a replacement. Pic atattched Thanks Brian
