  1. Hi All About thirty years ago I saw these wheels advertised and arranged to purchase them as I thought they were magnesium American Racing Wheels. Little did I know they sand cast aluminium alloy and solid (=heavy}. I also got two wheel caps in monkey metal. You can see that the wheels look better with the caps Any ideas about how to create some more so I can have a cap on four wheels Thanks in advance Always enjoy the forum and looking forward to driving out of the drive with the idea of actually going somewhere as opposed to Sainsburys Michael
  2. Not on a TR but thought the query might be relevant to others here. A friend has chrome spoked wheels on his classic car. Recently experienced a couple of punctures to the inner tubes. They haven't examined the wheels yet, but in anticipation I thought I would ask for your thoughts, I have not heard of this before (but then I have never run spokes). How likely is this to be the cause of the punctures and what is the solution? Mil
  3. Hi All Time to take my wheels to get new tyres fitted, but before i do that i want to get the wheels checked out. Its currently standing unused on very old (1980's) tyres and needs new ones before going on the road, which i've now got. But i don't want to fit nice new tyres on to (maybe) duff wheels. So i had them shot blasted and powder coated some years ago (just rusty) and the old tyres stay inflated so no rim air leak issues but i didn't get them checked for balance or any buckles. Now they seem ok and spin ok when the car is off the ground but can a tyre fitter ch
  4. Hi All I appreciate that the subject of wheels has been done to death, however what I’m looking for is any photographs of a Damson Tr6 fitted with Revolution wheels. At present my car is on Minilite copies,so I’m looking at either genuine Minilites or the Revolutions. Thanks Cameron
