thanks for bought a new stabiliser from rimmers waiting to try it at present halfway through refurbishing original dashboard lots of sanding and lots of coats of epoxy resin then varnish

Took the car out for a run and on the way home the temperature and fuel gauges failed. When I got home checked all the fuses then checked the gauges all working then turned to the wiring diagram seems that the only thing both gauges are connected to is the votage stabiliser. Am I correct or is there another solution?

 

Secondly while the dash is in bits I thought I would replace the gauge bezels but there seem to be several profiles

half V, full V shallow side and full v deep side I think they are full v shallow sided. Can anyone please advise on the bezel profile.
