I have for sale a set of 4 60 spoke painted wire wheels fitted with Dunlop SP4 165 SR 15 period tyres. The wheels appear to be in good condition but would benefit from repainting.The age of the tyres is not known but I suspect they are quite old and not suitable for road use. The tyres would be perfect for statics displays and concours shows for anyone wanting the period look.

I have for sale a set of 4 -15" x 5" 60 spoke painted wire wheels in good condition no kerbing marks with a matching set of Dunlop SP Sport period tyres with decent tread, but look quite old and likely not suitable for road use - given the tyres are a matching set and period they would be ideal for concours,show car or static display - £175

[TR6 / 5 - Chrome Rocker Cover for sale]

TR6 rocker cover now sold.

 

I do have the rocker cover for my GT6 if anyone is interested which is in same condition and chromed to the same standard. It is very slightly different to the TR6 cover where the breather pipe enters albeit I do think it might have been fitted to the later carb versions of the TR6 - I am sure the experts will know - £120. If anyone is interested please give me a call on 07827 891471 and I could email some photo's for clarity.

Having now sold my Triumph collection I am now having a garage clear out to make some space and have a number of sets of wheels for sale.;

 

Set of 4 -15" x 6" centre laced painted wire wheels. These are knock on with the wider outer rim. Good condition no kerb marks. - £160 - NOW SOLD

 

Set of 4 -15" x 5" 60 spoke painted wire wheels in good condition with a matching set of Dunlop tyres with good tread. No kerbing marks. Age of tyres not known but look in good order. £200

 

Set of 4 -13" x 5.5" TR7/8 factory standard alloy wheels with tyres. Age of tyres not known but look in good order. No marks or kerbing, complete with centre caps. NOW SOLD

 

Set of 5 - GT6, Spitfire, Herald or Vitesse 13" x 5.5" Dunlop steel wheels with almost new Dunlop SP Sport 175/70/13 tyres. Wheels are powder coated silver and in pristine condition. These wheels are becoming difficult to find and particularly in this condition. £450

 

Set of 4 - GT6, Spitfire, Herald or Vitesse 13" x 6" Minilite ( type) wheels with Goodyear / Firestone tyres 185/60/13 tyres with good tread. These wheels are polished outer rim with painted centres and backs and in pristine condition. I do not believe these wheels are genuine Minilite's but are 80's period replica's and not modern day copies. Complete with centres caps. No marks or kerbing. Age of tyres not known. £325

[Cheap TR6 for sale....NOT]

This was my car until quite recently. After months of soul searching I took the decision to sell my classic car collection ( which includes this TR6 ) to give my children a start in life and a mortgage deposit. When I built this car many years ago it was a keeper for life but as we all know family is more important than cars. I have no control on the selling prices of future owners / traders. I was happy with the deal I achieved.

I am disappointed with the petty response I have seen on this forum ( perhaps the moderators should intervene ) on what was my pride and joy. I did not want to sell this car and it hurts me to see it pulled apart by the 'armchair experts'.

I still think about my beloved TR6 every day since she disappeared off my driveway
