[SU carb identification]

My 6 has been changed from PI to SU carbs at some point in its 43 year life. Tell me please how i tell which SU carbs I have? I believe that they didn't put identification marks on them. Would a photo or three help? Regards. GerryC

Hi guys. Several questions/answers please. I have the windscreen surround and the glass removed from my 6 for repainting at present. 1) can I and should I put the glass back in before putting the surround back or leave it until it is all back together? 2) is there a preferred sealant for closing all of the joins ( glass to moulding, moulding to frame, frame to car)? Thanks.
