What a lovely car!
I take it from the second picture that like all TRs it is a little incontinent?

Just out of interest, were any RHD Italias made?

It certainly looks aesthetically better than this one that's currently on Ebay.

Well done.
You can now look forward to regular, therapeutic cleaning and polishing.

That almost reads like you have done a PR bit for the magazine.
I saw it in Smiths yesterday and was almost tempted to buy it, but it looks like a collection of previously published articles bound together with very little, if anything, new.

I hope you received a bottle of something from your friend as a thank you gift - sounds like you need it!

I am still suffering 12mpg
Perhaps Jonathan you are using the car as intended?
-
S*d it.
Some people have all the luck.

Guess I'm just a lucky guy!

TR weather seems to be here.
Cheers,
Conrad.
Not in blinking Cheshire it isn't - we've had a snow storm this morning!

As a relative youngster, I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed reading these reminiscences from you old farts.

Mmmm, why does this car ring a bell in my trivia laden, little mind?
-
Just discovered that on the bottom of my IPad screen is a bar, on the left of which states "use mobile version"
Clicking on that means you can use Smileys
Thus ????????????????????????????

I have a copy of this DVD if you want to borrow it.
It hasn't been much use to me I'm afraid as they don't mention Meguiars once!

I can remember seeing that car at Malvern several years ago.
As it states in the advert its a one owner car from new.
The elderly owner whom I remember wore a trilby in August, clearly loved his car and took great delight in telling me about the various shows he'd been to
...and yes the wing mirrors are positioned a bit skee whiff.
Looks a bit tarted up for sale now.

(I never did understand what Red or dead meant?).
In modern day parlance, it is the name of a British fashion brand started by Wayne Hemingway in the 80s
Not that you'd know that you old codger, as they tend not to stock it in Greenwoods!

Nice one Ian. I wonder if someone will advise the vendor that he's bad at both spelling and historical research !
If only the publishers would release Graham's latest novel, we could read all about it first hand. Waterstone's just keep emailing me saying its 'not in our warehouse'.
I doubt Graham would call it a novel, but there was a flyer in TR Action and also Triumph World offering the book at a reduced price and signed by the great man himself. No need to bother with Waterstones.

Scott,
Eventually you will reach a strange place called Yorkshire (not to be confused with Lancashire.)
Yorkshire is so important they had to divide it in half (North and South of course.)
Originally, this was so everybody knew who they were fighting.
Along the way they invented a game called Cricket, in theory to reduce the number of injuries.
Apparently, they used to have a bloke called Fred who was quite good at it.
Then there was a bloke called Geoff who wasn't.
Fred went very fast, and Geoff went very slow.
Yorkshire accents and the Rules of cricket are the same thing.
Nobody understands a word of it.

Hi at the risk being shot as sheep, and believing the propaganda of big oil :-)
What is the actual cost saving? £20 per year, compared to the piece of mind of believing you have good quality oil doing no harm to the heart of your car.
Each to his or her own, but the risk/reward does not stack up for me as I, as I am sure most do, lavish love and care on our cars and saving £20 a year seems odd, to me.
But you pays your money and you takes your chances.

I've had one on my TR4 for just over three years with no trouble whatsoever. In fact, I wish I'd got one earlier.
