[new car and rotiserie]

i have just aquired a silver fhc HOP69W in fair conditionanyone come across this over the years and any tips on care for the webasto seems to shut and lock fine but leaks when you not looking nice motor hopeing to use through summer while drop head gets completed, talking of which.

 

drop head car is now off the rotisserie so ive listed if anyone looking for one

[JUST GOTTA FIXED HEAD]

just got a fixed head mainly for parts, but its trisha ? colour and the more i look at it the nicer it looks... body is solid all over part from front wings it runs steers and stops. i haven't finished my primary project yet and already thinking of saving this one v8 rally rep crossed mind or a tart up for daughters first car early next year instead of corsa shed proberbly hate me for life. out of interest it has looks as if it was tr drivers club car at some time judging by stickers any one remember it BWO 831 V

[first outing off summer top off cool...]

ok heres pictures off first outing in the glourious sunshine friday 2nd, not what you thought but still a milestone, car came back from dipping and e coating last saturday the dip had uncovered a fewbits of thin metal on floor so we have let in a couple of patches to be make good every panel is new. the e-coat is fantastic should give another 25 years good service. so all underside seam sealing done and 3 coats of gravitex stone chip protector next is engine bay.

 

 

 

 

 

hopefully i will be done with spit in a few weeks so if anyone wants to borrow / hire for a few beers !!! let me know

nearing completion of a 2 year restoration spider bought from robsport, was beyond economic repair but heart riled the head. all new oe panels, body dip ecoated, engine rebuild fuel injection and aircon overhauled all new suspension polybushed, would like any feedback from former keepers.

will be repainted in original black, and stripped interior.
