  1. Hi Roger, Managed to get the car out yesterday. The OD is not working at all now. I guess i will have to check the inhibitor switch and the solenoid. BTW, I cannot find the relay on the inner left wing there is one relay not two as I see in the pictures

  2. Thanks Roger.

When I tried yesterday with engine not running, gearbox in 4th, ignition on, at first i could not hear any click from the solenoid. I checked the wires on the fuse box and a double purple on the output side was loose. I refitted it and can now hear the click. Was not able to try car yesterday, but hoping to do so this afternoon. Will come back with result.

  3. post-14627-0-22524500-1486396552_thumb.jpgHere is what caused my problem with the side lights. I bought a new fusebox and installed it without looking at the back. The new one has two terminals bridged. See picture. Old one on left

  4. This is what I received.

    Hi Mike
It looks like you bombed someone else post that's why you have no replies!

Are you sure your light switch is OFF?

    Pete

    Hi,

I am really sorry, I did not mean to "bomb" anyone's posts.

What did I do that was wrong?

Yes, the light switch is off

  5. I have just been told that I have been "bombing" other people's posts. I was not not aware that I have, but if I have, I apologise profusely. Please explain the correct procedure for asking questions

  6. Hi All,

Anyone have a picture or wiring diagram with colours of wires for a UK TR6 CR 1974 model. I took off my wires to change the fuse box and I thought I had carefully transferred the wires to the new fuse box, but now the park lights remain on.

  7. Hello everyone

I want to take my 1974 model TR6 (CR) to someone who is well versed in servicing the petrol injection system.

Ideally I would like to have the lead free kit fitted to the metering unit as I cannot find anywhere in the comprehensive list of invoices from previous owners that this has been done and I would like all six injectors removed and serviced or exchanged for reconditioned ones. The car has the Bosch fuel pump.

I live in north Essex (near Colchester) so ideally someone in this area.

    All help will be appreciated.

  9. Hi, My headlamp main beams have stopped working. 1974 TR6. The dipped beams and side lights work fine. Does anyone know if the main beams have a fuse or a relay that solely works the main beams. My bulbs are good. Any suggestions are welcome.
