My first TR was a '57 3 bought in 1965, which was fortunately written off (previously badly damaged and VERY badly repaired) by a lorry while I was stationary. Next TR was a '59 3A bought in 1966 and kept for 4 years. Next was a '62 TR4 bought in '72 and kept for 1 year. Intermingled with these were a 948cc Mk2 sprite (kept for 3 weeks!!), Healey 3000, Daimler SP250 and an S4 Lotus Elan BRM - now worth about 75K. Ouch!

1980 saw the return of the aforementioned 3A, now in poor condition and restored between 1984 and 1990 and kept for a further 10 years.

Present TR4, CT10079L was bought in 2011, having been restored in the early '90's and covered 19K since then. I imported partly restored CT3929L from Oregon earlier this year and was very happy to find very little rust other than in floors and sills, all of which will be replaced soon. I have also acquired a daimler V8 250 engine and manual box with overdrive which will be fitted to 3929. I have stripped the engine and had it rebored and the heads have had the waterways milled out and rebuilt with ally weld and have fitted new valves and springs.

Aiming for complete full restoration and RHD conversion to be on the road on April 1st 2017.
