New guy here from Florida. Wondering if anybody knows the whereabouts of a set of spats? Personal opinion is that they look exceptional on the TR3A. Thoughts?

There are indeed a few glorious reasons to live in the USA especially Florida. My 59 TR3A and I are out and about 12 months a year. Today happens to be about 83F. I did however, live in Minnesota for about 25 years where I either put my pride and joy away or put on the snow tyres and froze with enjoyment. Given the option, I choose the warmth of the south and a 12 month motoring experience

Granted, I am across the pond in the states but have fitted R&P to my 59TR3A. For my type of driving on our roads, I feel that it is the best modification which i have made to my British love. I drive her quite often and log approximately 10000 miles a year. The R&P has heightened my enjoyment and made my driving journeys a delight. Granted, I will not score well at concours events but the modification was worth the trade off.

Thank you all so much. The 3A which I drive is not for racing (different car for that) so the concern about over heating is not a major concern. Your comments on the visual perspective gave me much to consider. Rick
