  1. Mike,

this what I did when I had my wings off for repair. I used a empty silicon tube, cut down, and cut a good bit of the nozzle off and 12mm rubber tube. It exits through a grommet on the splash guard.

  2. Hi Guy,

I had my front and rear bumpers, front grille badge, rear bumper number plate lamp holder and fuel cap done by Castle Chrome in Dudley (01384 214429  https://castlechrome.co.uk) nearly 2 years ago for I think £1140.

Not cheap, but I know the parts fitted ok when I took them off and the have done a cracking job, really impressed. the front bumper had a crease in it (from a PO) and you cannot tell where it was.

    Regards,

    Vince.

  3. Hi All,

Does anyone have a picture showing the outline of where I believe the satin black paintwork should be behind the grill on a TR6. My car is having a respay shortly (signal red), so would like to know. Might as well have it right.

    Regards,

    Vince.

  4. Hi all,

Am doing a refurb on my TR6, have renewed the bushes for brake and clutch pedals, how in gods name are the other two done. They are a hard plastic type from Moss. Have tried boiling in a microwave for a few mins to soften them, have tried grease/wd40, in a vice with sockets for the bracket and with a bolt on the bulkhead. Apart from cutting a wedge out of them any ideas please.

    Regards,

    Vince.

  5. Hi All,

Just found out why my drivers door will not lock, the spring  is broken. It is fitted on part No 35 in Moss catalogue (arrowed in picture) part number 712839. Unfortunately it is no longer available, does anyone have a spare one or the control rod surplus to requirements please.

    Thanks

    Vince.

  6. Hi Stephen,

looks like a short down to earth on the loom somewhere. Can you isolate the side light circuit front/back anywhere by unplugging the relevant wire, then trying a new fuse again. If it's ok then the fault is after that.

    Vince.
