LVG go to DH Museum
LVG have had the De Havilland Museum on its bucket list for a visit, from pre Covid times and this year we are at last going to get there. Salisbury Hall was the site that DH used in WW11, initially to design the Mosquito in some secrecy from the Government of the time, who might have cancelled the project and subsequently to build the first 3 aircraft. In 1959 it was the first aviation museum to open in Britain and now houses some of the iconic aircraft from the golden age of British aviation. We will meet at the museum at 11am for Tea & Coffee and following a buffet lunch, will have our own guided TouR of the museum.
