European Meeting - Sweden 2022 - SOLD OUT, RESERVE LIST OPEN
This event has now sold out. We were allocated 35 places for UK team and all of those have now been booked. However, I have opened a reserve list just in case we can get some more places or if there are any cancellations. If you wish to be on the reserve list then please fill in the form and return it to me as per the instructions but do not pay any deposit for now.
The Triumph TR Club Sweden are hosting the 2022 European Meeting at the Hotel Riviera Strand in Bastad which is approximately 110km north of Malmo. The event spans the 7th to the 11th September 2022. They are proposing two accommodation packages: 1) a standard Friday to Sunday weekend, or 2) a super weekend from Wednesday to Sunday. The outline itinerary is as follows:
Superweekend 7-11 september
Wednesday: Guests arrive on Wednesday afternoon at the Rivera Strand Hotel in Båstad for 4 nights. Check in between 15:00-18:00. Informal dinner.
Thursday: We drive to Torekov harbour from where we take a boat for the 20 minute trip to an island called Hallands Väderö. You will be taken on a guided sightseeing tour of the Nature Reserve. After that, we sail back to Torekov for a free afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.
Friday: A scenic drive east and south of Båstad, visiting an aviation museum and northern Europe’s largest vineyard, Arilds Vingård. Lunch at the vineyard.
Weekend 9-11 september
Weekend guests arrive on Friday afternoon for a two-night stay on Hotel Rivera Strand or Hotel Skansen. Check in between 15:00-18:00.
For both Superweekend and Weekend guests.
Friday: 3-course dinner at the hotel Riviera Strand.
Saturday: A scenic drive north of Båstad to view large elks, driving through a large moose enclosure along a 3 km forest road to experience the King of the Forest. A light lunch will be taken here. On the tour you will visit a small car museum and an art museum.
A Gala dinner will be held on Saturday evening at a beautiful location, Norrvikens Trädgårdar (Norrvikens Gardens). Music from the 40s and 50s will be provided by one of the best-known jazz bands in Sweden. Transport will be provided from the Rivera Strand Hotel and Hotel Skansen.
Sunday: Drive to the south of Båstad into Kullen nature reserve, making a stop at the lighthouse with dramatic views over the Öresund. The drive will continue to Sundspärlan in Helsingborg, for lunch.
After lunch it´s time to say good-bye!

You will need to make your own way to and from Sweden. Travel on your own or with friends. Make a longer holiday by stopping off en-route or extending your stay in Sweden.
