BMC & British Leyland Show, Gaydon - FREE TO TR REGISTER MEMBERS!

The TR Register have a display at this superb event and you and your TR are invited to join us! 

This was the venue in 2021 for our 50th anniversary event and everyone who attended had a great time. The TR Register will have the club gazebo, teas/coffees and merchandise for sale. On arrival you will be directed straight to the special TR Register display area, please follow the Marshalls instructions.

In addition to all of your TRs, there will be a huge variety of vehicles on display covering everything from Morris Mini Minors to Rover 800s. Explore the show and meet like-minded people. This is the show where you can examine every panel and bolt on an Austin Maxi and not worry about being judged for it! There will be a ‘Show and shine' open to any vehicle on display. Don't forget, Museum entry is included with the show ticket giving you access to see over 350 classic British cars in the Museum.

2022 marks 60 years of the Austin/Morris 1100/1300 and the British Motor Museum want to celebrate by getting as many Austin/Morris 1100/1300s to join in. They are also holding the Austin Counties National Rally at the Museum this year where they hope to have over 40 cars to see. Don't miss the special Abingdon Works Motorsport Celebration of BMC/Leyland ex-Works race and rally cars, joined by other makes, from the period of Historic and Classic Marathons. Up to 50 cars are expected including a 1964 Spa-Sofia-Liege Healey 3000, the Aaltonen/Ambrose 1962 RAC Rally Mini Cooper '977 ARX', London-Sydney and World Cup Rally Landcrabs, Triumphs, MGs, Fords and Hunters and even 'Puff the Magic Wagon', Austin Maxi 'MCE 7G'. Several well known personalities, associated with the cars, will be in attendance. This is organised by the Historic Marathon Rally Group and Mini Cooper Register.

The TR Register has now made the superb offer to cover the cost for TR Register members as long as you are displaying a TR, for those already booked, and paid, please contact the office for a refund sending a copy of your Gaydon ticket for your claim. This includes an entry pass to display your vehicle and gives admission for the driver and a passenger to the show, Museum and Collections Centre. This ticket cannot be converted to an Annual Pass.

Please ensure you register below to get your free entry ticket - entries close Thursday 7th July. After this you will be sent a TR Register entry voucher to print and take with you to the show.

The above event is this Sunday, please note this is  free to TRR members (2 people in one exhibited TR car), if a member(s) arrive without a exhibition car, they will need to pay full price £9 on the Gaydon website or higher price on the gate and park in the public car park.

To improve entry and reduce queues, TRR members will be direct right in the first roundabout on the Gaydon entrance which goes direct to our exhibition area which is the same as last year's 50th plus 1 event.

Lastly, I will need help putting up the gazebo in Saturday after circa 15.00, volunteers please we need 4 minimum, 6 preferably, can you let me know if you can help.
