CUMBRIA TR GROUP OVERNIGHTER TRIP TO LIVERPOOL

Arrangements: Sunday 3rd April: Meet at Booths in Garstang, Park Hill Road, PR3 1EF. The Cafe opens at 10am and they do a Breakfast deal of a bacon Barm and Coffee for £3. Cafe is upstairs. We aim to leave at 11am. Drive should be about 2hours. Check in and then free afternoon to explore the waterfront/ museums/ shops etc.

Monday morning: Leaving at 10am: Drive through the Mersey Tunnel (toll £1.80) to see the Liverpool waterfront from the other side of the Mersey, then drive around the Wirral into Cheshire and visit the Anderton Boat Lift nr Northwich. Lunch in the cafe, 7 ladies booked on the boat trip along the canal at 2pm and then 2 groups to tour the workings of the Lift (max 6 at one time) 5 at 1.30pm and 6 at 2.30pm.
