TR Register Shropshire Group Daffodil Run
This year's Daffodil Run takes us to a new destination at Hawarden Castle in Flintshire which is only open to the public on one or two days each year. We will be stopping off at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct for a walk over this magnificent 18th/early 19th century structure designed by Thomas Telford. For those without a head for heights, there will be coffee and tea (and loos) in the Telford Inn by the canal basin.
Lunch will be taken at the Gwynne Arms which is owned by the Hawarden Castle Estate and which is situated across the road from the castle. A sample menu is also attached here but a new menu will be available for this event and choices must be made before setting off and preferably before the 15th,
