Kennet Valley TR Group 'Eat & Drive' October - Whitchurch Silk Mill & Lunch

For our October 'Drive & Eat', we have booked a visit to Whitchurch Silk Mill, we have also, provisionally requested use of their lawn area for parking (TR's only) on 20 October 2019.

There are no group tours on Sundays, but volunteers are around to answer questions as you go round and you are pointed in the right direction.

Costs: The entry cost is £6 for concession and £7 adults per person.

Food in their cafe on an individual basis so long as numbers are 12 or under, a link to their cafe menu is here. Nothing to heavy, and not a 'Sunday lunch'.

The Drive, there is some lovely countryside between Basingstoke/ Newbury and Whitchurch, taking in Watership Down around Kingsclere and a run will be created.

The last time we went, was the 11th April 2011, we were all a bit younger then and whilst the Mill has also got older, there have been many changes which are well worth seeing.

Here we are back in 2011.
