Cotswold Vale - Autumn Leaves Run

The feedback from last year was positive enough to warrant another visit to the Arboretum at Bodenham nr Kidderminster. It was felt that being quieter overall than Westonbirt in 2017 made it more enjoyable and easier to use the catering and other facilities. You are welcome to look at their website to find out more if you not been before.

The plan is to meet from 1030 (to depart at 1100) in the slip road (A4133) of the turning into Ombersley village off the A449 as before. We will then take a rural route cross country to Bodenham. The plan is go a little further into west Worcestershire in order to add a bit more distance to the run compared to last year.

Once there you will be at your leisure and can choose to walk around the estate at your own pace with the option to use the café for snacks or a full Sunday lunch. Local hostelries are reasonably close by for the real ale lovers in the group. The Severn Valley Railway is not far away at Arley should the steam enthusiasts amongst us which to extend their visit later in the afternoon. Parking is available in the village of Upper Arley but please bear in mind the station is a 10 minute walk up the hill from the car park!
