South Downs Group - Bewl Water with run and country pub

This event is now closed to new entrants. An email will be sent to all those who have registered interest by mid June advising final arrangements.

Bewl water is the largest stretch of open water in the South East with ferry rides available at £6, water taxi service to various points around the reservoir, walks and pedallo hire.

We have arranged to go to the Bull Inn at Ticehurst for a 12-30pm lunch before going on to Bewl where you decide what you want to do. Please note that parking at Bewl is chargeable at £4.

A £5 deposit will be required, in advance, for the lunch. Menu selections and balance of payment can be made at the pub on the day.

For those who wish to, there will be an 11-00am meet up at the services area on the Maresfield by-pass roundabout where the A26 meets the A22. We shall leave here at 11-15am promptly to drive to the pub via lovely lanes and the Etchingham railway station to pick up any eastern members.
