Kennet Valley TR Group October Mid Monthly - Sunday Drive & Eat!

Kennet Valley TR Group Mid Monthly is a Drive & Eat event for Sunday lunch.

The plan is to meet at Tot Hill Services at 11:30 RG20 9BX for coffee at Starbucks, leaving at circa 12:00 and then a nice drive (19 miles - 45 minutes) through the Berkshire & Hampshire countryside to the Abbots Mitre Pub, Chilbolton.

Places for 10 couples have been booked for lunch at 13:00 so please confirm to Phil Horsley if you intend to go? Hopefully in your TR, but if you want to bring your everyday car, that's OK too! If you want to meet there, again please let me know?

If you follow the route back and detour slightly, you could pop in to see the recently renovation Whitchurch Silk Mill, RG28 7AL it is the oldest silk mill in the UK still in its original building. A gem of industrial heritage in beautiful, rural Hampshire, Whitchurch Silk Mill is a Georgian water mill that weaves silk using 19th century machinery.

Opening Times

The Mill, cafe and shop are open Tuesday to Sunday and on Bank Holidays 10.30am to 5pm.
