Kennet Valley TR Group - September Mid Monthly alternative - West Green House Classic
UPDATE: Unfortunately the tickets for the event haven't arrived, I have been in contact with the organisers and they have asked for a list of names of those attending from KVG/TR Register, once they have the list, they will let those named entry, so if you intend going, please let Phil Horsley know ASAP. The weather looks poor but is expected to blow through by 14:00-ish?
Kennet Valley TR Group members have another alternative for the September Mid-Monthly, there are 10 car spaces booked at the West Green House Classic Car show. An excellent day out for all the family, car enthusiasts will love the range of vehicles on show as well as so much to see at West Green House Gardens, Tea Room and Shop.
The West Green House Classic Car Show takes place in the lovely large field adjacent to the Gardens and welcomes car enthusiasts and their families for a great day out. Marvel at a wonderful choice of vehicles, enjoy live music and awards for the finest cars, gain superb access through the private tree lined drive and private lawns of West Green House.
Entry price includes unlimited visits around West Green House Gardens, Tea Room and Shop plus the opportunity to purchase delicious lunches and Afternoon Teas,
Here's the itinerary:
8.30 am Cars are able to arrive through the main gates off Borough Court Road.
9.00 am Tea, Coffee, bacon and sausage rolls and cakes can be purchased from our stall in the Car Show Arena.
11.00 am Car Show opens to the public. Car Exhibitors and Guests are able to enter the Gardens.
11.00 to 4.00 Refreshments available in the Garden Tearoom (Lunch is served between 12-2pm)
2.30 pm Afternoon Tea can be pre- ordered and served in the Car Show Arena (not to miss the prize giving)
3.00 pm Prize Giving, to include Best in Show and The Peoples Choice.
4.00 pm Close
The Car Show will again be sponsored by Foster and Heanes Ltd, and Best in Show judges by the Director, Bob Ravenscroft.
