Silverstone Classic 2018

Silverstone Classic is an annual three-day car and race event at the UK's Silverstone circuit, home of the British Grand Prix. Over a long weekend every July, the event features a large number of historic racecars in races and static displays and draws together a large number of car clubs. It is billed as 'The World's Biggest Classic Motor Racing Festival'.

The world's biggest classic motor racing festival features the cream of historic racing action from Formula One, Sports Cars, GT and Touring Car grids with over 20 races and demonstrations, and over 1,000 race entries. In other words, more racing action than you'll see anywhere else in the world in one weekend! Not only that, but each ticket includes access to the paddocks where you can get close to the cars and talk to the drivers and race preparers.

Silverstone Classic isn't just about fantastic racing, it's 'Rocking and Racing' with great live music to enjoy after racing on Friday and Saturday evenings.

This year, Grammy award-winning Soul II Soul will be topping the Friday night line-up, supported by performances from the fabulous tribute bands U2 2 and Noasis. Then, on Saturday evening, British reggae and pop legends UB40 featuring Ali, Astro and Mickey, will top the live music line-up.

Each year, over one hundred car clubs attend the Silverstone Classic providing some fabulous displays on the infield for all to enjoy and admire; clubs are an important part of the event's culture.
