Camb Followers- Drive It Day Run
Drive it Day this year is on Sunday 22nd April and we will be driving to Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire, a distance of about 65 miles.- www.woburnabbey.co.uk
We will be meeting outside the Haycock Inn, Wansford PE18 6JA from 09.30 and leaving between 10.00 and 10.30. There is a new coffee lounge (which opens at 09.00) opposite the Haycock serving coffee and breakfasts as required. The link to their website is info@countryloungewansfordcafebar.co.uk
A road book with tulip diagrams of the suggested route will be issued to each car, together with a 'ticket' which can be exchanged for a proper ticket at the entrance to the Gardens and Deer Park. There will be a dedicated parking area. Lunch at £17.50 can be booked for the group in the Duchess Tea Room and the choice is shown below - we will need a minimum of 12 persons for this. There is a cafeteria serving sandwiches and soup which can be bought on the day.
Lunch choices;
Vegetable quiche with new potatoes, mixed salad and homemade coleslaw or
Chicken and ham pie, potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Apple crumble and custard or
Trio of Chocolate Mousse
The total cost for the day will be £7.50pp plus the cost of lunch - a total cost of £25 per person.
Please also indicate if you will be having breakfast at the Wansford Country Lounge as I have said I will give them numbers beforehand.
