TR Register Shropshire Group, annual Turkey Trot
This year we will visit a Christmas Food & Craft Fayre and have our Christmas Lunch at The Riverside Inn, Cound. This is on the A458 Shrewsbury to Much Wenlock road between Cross Houses and Cressage. Full details are attached along with a copy of the menu. Please advise David SomervillTe of your choice of dishes by Wednesday 15th November. David's contact details are on the flyer.
Please note that we will be paying on the day so do please bring cash and factor in the 10% service charge.
As usual, there will be a prize quiz and an exchange of presents by draw ticket. For the uninitiated, I would explain that everybody brings a long a "secret" present. Something useful, trivial or outrageous but not expensive. There will be a suitable draw for these at the end of the meal.
Because we are eating earlier than normal, you will see that I have brought forward the start times for meeting and departure. Meet at Battlefield Services - to the north of Shrewsbury where the by-pass meets the A53 to Market Drayton and the A49 to Whitchurch - at 09:30 for a prompt 10am start.
The run will be festive - so glam up your TR and join us for our last run of the year.
