Glavon & Essex Groups - Joint Run

Joint Run with Essex Group - Saturday 13th May

Essex Group are having a weekend away at The Bear of Rodborough Hotel near Stroud

and have asked Glavon if we could take them on a run on the Saturday of their visit which we

were delighted to agree to. The plan is to meet at The Bear at 10.00am for a 10.30am departure,

then take a scenic route north towards Birdlip, skirt the northern edge of Gloucester, then

through the Forest of Dean to a coffee stop at the Old Station Café at Tintern, down the Wye

Valley and over the Severn Bridge for a late Lunch at The Anchor Inn at Oldbury on Severn

before heading back to Rodborough. Essex Group Leader Andy Dimbleby so far has 23 cars confirmed

so let's have a good showing of Glavon cars too for a great day doing what TRs are built for - driving!

Due to numbers involved it will not be practical to maintain a convoy but a detailed suggested route plan will be provided.
