Tour of Lincs 100

Work is starting to organise the Tour of Lincs 100 classic car run for this year. Last year's was a huge success. with 110 entries raising £2000 for The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. The money raised this year will again be going to the Air Ambulance

This year's run is scheduled to take place on Sunday 8th May 2016 and once again it is the aim to get 100 cars driving the 100 mile route. This year they will be starting from Four Seasons Garden Centre, London Road, Sleaford NG34 8NY. Please arrive from 9.00am onwards. As usual coffee/tea and a bacon roll or croissant will be served. A driver's briefing will be held at 10.00am prior to our departure.

This year they plan to explore the south of the county and they make no excuses for maybe leaving the county for a few miles to make the route different from earlier runs.

The lunch stop will be at Rutland Water where those wanting to picnic will have car parking facilities available to them. For those wanting Sunday lunch in a pub the two nearest options are The White Horse , Main Street, Empingham, Rutland LE15 BPS or The Noel, Main street, Whitwell, Rutland LE15 8BW. This is a popuIar area on Sundays so booking in advance would be highly recommended

The run will finish back at The Finehatton Arms, Ewerby, Sleaford, NG34 9PH where afternoon tea will be served from 3.30 pm. Tea vouchers will be included in the pack

The price per car this year will be £30 assuming two people per car. this includes route planner and maps. windscreen display sticker, commemorative plaque, morning coffee and tea for two. If there are more than two people in the car a charge of £5 per extra person viii be made to cover the extra costs incurred.
