TR7 1982 FULLY DOCUMENTED FROM NEW (1982)

£9250

This is a well-known car in the TR Register. Built in August 1981 and registered in June 1982 it was one of the last built. In 2000 the Register bought it from the first owner, and restored it as a prize for a competition to raise funds for the restoration of TR2. It had a respray, new hood, new upholstery, top end engine overhaul, new alloy wheels and new bumpers. The keys were handed over to the winner by Tony Pond. The colour is Monza Red, a rare shade, but a deep rich red that suits the car superbly. I bought it two years ago to drive, but then found a genuine TR8, which has meant the TR7 has been little used since. All that my Triumph specialist garage did to it for me to drive was change a couple of rubber fuel lines under the bonnet, fit a new choke, balance the carbs and fit a new headlamp relay. Underneath they said it looks like new, while the engine compartment is unmarked. It has a massive folder of documents, with every invoice back to the original from Unipart and the Supercover Warranty, and every service invoice and MOT since. It is tax and MOT exempt, but I have had it MOTed, with no advisories, and will MOT it again till April 2025.

It would be difficult to find such a well documented car in such good condition.
