1965 Triumph TR4A IRS in Conifer (Triumph Racing Green) Overdrive gearbox, Surrey top with original cover, wire wheels.
The car was restored in the late nineties having been off the road for some years, its first post- restoration owner reregistered it on its original number BOY 111C, it was then purchased by its current owner in 1996, in recent years it has been little used but very well cared for.
This car is very original, all numbers matching those it left the factory with, a British Motor Heritage Trust certificate confirms this. The only exception to the originality is the seats which were very worn so were replaced by the present owner in early 2000’s with true to style custom made seats, black with white piping with head rests to improve comfort and safety.
The car has never been overly restored it has been carefully maintained over the years to ensure its authenticity it is a beautiful genuine car.
It has recently been given a full mechanical check and has an up to date MOT certificate.
The bodywork is good but not perfect there are some small areas of bubbling and the original dashboard needs refinishing to correct the crazed varnish.
I have a pile of paperwork invoices, receipts, official certificates plus the original owners handbook and workshop manual these all come with the car.
I have recently inherited this amazing car I would love to keep it but its completely impracticable I know nothing about looking after a car of this age, I have only ever driven it once from the workshop to my home, it’s just too much of a responsibility.
I have tried to describe it honestly and will do my best to answer any questions to the best of my limited ability.
