Vale of York

Our March meeting was a quite one even though it was a dry evening it only saw one of the club's car's in the car park so thanks Mike for keeping up with all year round attendance, talk over the evening was mainly about our projects and sorting out problems, Barry's clutch is still ongoing and has sought advice from the forum so should be back in action soon, Roger is having front brake calliper problems but sure he will sort that one out, I have just finished refurbishing the steel wheels and changing back to standard after many years on alloys. Russ attended the spares day and reported that getting on site for the show was a vast improvement to last year, after speaking to him he seems to have bought enough spares to build another car.
Mike our event organiser spoke about our next event, Drive it day more information will be available through email and on the web site, also update on the other events in the planning including a DVD evening along with members cars over their life span, so should bring back memories.
Roger gave us a good talk on modern cars explaining about emissions and how the modern electronics can adjust the settings through the various valves, but the bottom line is when they go wrong it is a garage job to reset or replace, some of this was over my head!
So now the weather is picking up remember second Thursday of each month 8pm on at the Buckles, all are welcome.
