The official start of the driving season. Come along and join us because this year we are joining forces with the Stoke Group to visit Ironbridge near Telford and the Blists Hill Victorian Museum.

The day should be a great opportunity to exercise the car and learn about a bit of history.

It's also a great excuse for some tyre kicking and bonnet lifting too!

So what's the plan?

Well, you can either meet us there (1030 in the car park at Blists Hill) or join us in convoy. If you wish to convoy then this is the plan:

1. Meet at the Bulls Head car park in Shenstone at 0745.

2. RV with the Stoke Group at Midway Truck Stop near Whitchurch (SY13 3JT) at 0900.

3. Head to Blists Hill arriving 1030.

4. Depart Blists Hill whenever you wish.

As for food, we can choose between fish and chips at £5 each or sandwiches and soup at £5.80 at the venue. These are group discount rates negotiated by the Stoke group.

Entrance to the museum is £14 per person or £11 per person for over 60's. car parking is £3 per car.

Important note - to get the discounted food price you need to pay in advance to Chris Hubball before the event i.e. at the preceding Tuesday meeting.
