Details for all events will be circulated to Wye Dean members nearer the time, and also entered onto the 'Forthcoming events' tab on the TR register website a short while before the event.

March 19th visit the Roman baths & amphitheatre in Caerleon, (NP18 1AE) then make our way to the Foxhunter Inn at Nantyderry (NP7 9ON - SE of Abergavenny) for Sunday lunch.

April 23rd – our new member Rod Edwards has kindly offered us a guided tour of the Madley satellite station/communication centre, which would include a tour of the Antenna, operations centre & the BT emergency response team HQ.The tour will take around 2 hours, and we'll be able to line up your TReasures for a photo shoot after. Any suggestions for a venue for food after?

May 21st – visit the Haynes Motor Museum BA22 7LHnear Yeovil – Caroline to ask Glavon for a route they've used previously. Entry is currently £14.50 / £13.50

June 25th visit to Stokesay Castle SY7 9AH – near Craven Arms. Entry currently £7.70 / £6.90.English Heritage members foc. Parking is £1. We'll take the best 'country' route, and round off with a meal at the Salwey Arms.

July 7th – 9th IWE at Malvern – if we can get a few to camp it would make it more enjoyable. Offers to do an hour in the Auto Jumble would be appreciated – contact Jeff.

July 23rd – Shelsley Walsh Classic Nostalgia – tickets for the day are £20 advance or £25 at the gate.

August 20th – a trip on the Monmouthshire & Brecon canal - we'll book for 12 midday start & spend around 2.5 hours on board.The cost will be approx. £8, and we may either choose to have a buffet lunch provided at extra cost, or perhaps take food on as a 'bring & share' – will check . Chance to explore Brecon after, and take more refreshments in the theatre café.

September 17th – a visit to Gaydon Motor Museum, taking a route along the Fosse Way to get there. Entry is £14 / £12

Also, on September 24th, a 'bring & share' afternoon hosted by Sian & Martin.

October 7th – join Glavon at Castle Coombe for the Autumn Classic event at the circuit.

November 19th – A guided tour of the Court room at the Shire Hall in Monmouth where the Chartist trials were held in the mid 19th century, to be followed by supper/late lunch in Monmouth.

December 13th - Christmas Dinner

In addition, many events take place that give you chance to display your cars & admire others, such as Bromyard Festival of Speed on April 2nd, Much Marcle steam rally July 22nd/23rd, the Brecon Beacons Classic Motor Show August 6th, Penallt Classic car event mid August etc, plus track days and museums to visit. If members are planning to attend an extra event they can let us know at the monthly meet, or by email and we can circulate details, and contact details so anyone else who's interested can liaise with them.

Andrew & Sarah Breakwell join other groups for weekend gatherings, many of which are booked well in advance, but they may be able to give you an idea of where to look for information if you'd like an 'away' weekend. Other groups are pleased to welcome visitors (as we are) to their drives.
