The Summer BBQ

On Wednesday 17th August, our regular monthly meeting became the Summer BBQ. 20 members attended, and were lucky to be able to sit out at the picnic tables until the bats woke up from their daytime slumber to herald darkness. The food was very good, with homemade burgers, bangers and chicken from the coals of the BBQ, accompanied by a variety of salads. To follow, strawberry meringue cheesecake - indulgent & yummy! A convivial gathering, with time for some technical chat too - it's great to hear the suggestions that are fielded to descriptions of challenges that have arisen.....our monthly meetings are about so much more than a drink and a bar snack. We're a friendly bunch and there's a wealth of knowledge and expertise to tap into - you should give us a try!
